Platform Software Verification for eVTOL aircraft

The client, a leading manufacturer of eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft, is at a mature stage of development of the aircraft and all on-board systems required support in Platform Software Verification. All activities must be performed strictly according to aviation industry standards, particularly DO-178C and DO-331.
Tasks
- Verification and tool qualification activities according to company software verification processes and methods.
- To provide preliminary verification and tool qualification artifacts to support client in producing evidence to demonstrate compliance with the software certification objectives.
Results
The project is completed, with all verification activities being conducted in strict accordance with industry and company standards. The outcomes so far include:
- Software Verification activities: Requirements Review, Design Document Review, Source Code Review, Test Cases and Test Procedures Running using VectorCAST tool.
- Adherence to standards: all development and verification activities are fully compliant with DO-178C and company standards and methods.
